Our table has a diameter of 170 inches, and the medium-sized bumper fits securely. I like having the corner pads for additional protection. I wish the bumper was a little more attractive (well, a lot more attractive), but I'm happy to forgo aesthetics for peace of mind.

We love the expandable bumpers - we have 4 of them. As a parent of a very active baby who falls quite a bit since she's walking but wants to run - these bumpers provide peace of mind. We have a very large coffee table with very sharp corners at top and bottom. We bought 2 bumpers for the table - one at the top and later purchased another for the bottom. The bumpers are well padded and also come with extra padding. Our daughter has fallen against the corners since adding the bumpers, states "uh oh" and gets up and starts playing again.
