It does take a little more work for us to use the paper, as the spring is very tight. This can be a problem if your wall mount isn't secure. I recommend it if you want to keep the paper in its holder.

stlmommy from MA              July 15th, 2008 I was skeptical of this, but it really helps keeps the toilet paper on the roll instead of the floor. My daughter is annoyed that this is stopping her from decorating the place with toilet paper, but I love it!
