Submitted By: Abraham   Date: 05/31/2008 I have recently installed them and it took a few minutes to figure out how they get installed but I found them to be easy to install and they work great! We have much more piece of mind knowing that as soon as that door closes it's locked. There's also nothing hanging on the outside of your cabinet doors that will attract your child over to pull on.

I haven't heard anyone complain about installing them and they work great once installed. I'll be buying more for my own home today.

Submitted By: Blake Kilpatrick   Date: 02/05/2007 I am writing this in utter disgust as I have wasted the past 2.5 hours attempting to install the "Magnetic Tot Lok" locking system. Listed below are the numerous reasons for my outrage. 1. Instructions were vague, incomplete, and utterly useless. 2. Poorly designed product as demonstrated by the latch being put into a bind when mounting screws are installed. End result is the latch drags against the housing of the assembly causing intermittent failure. 3. Mounting screws made of low quality, soft steel causing stripping as they must be installed, removed, and re-installed numerous times in an attempt to make the product operate properly. The intention was to limit my children’s access to the kitchen cabinets, but all I have to show for my wasted time and effort are large holes in the back of my cabinet doors. Absolutely a TERRIBLE PRODUCT!!! I will think twice about purchasing any other items with the name “Safety 1st” on the packaging.
