like the colors and the non toxic, but the leaves are heavy and 'bonk' my baby in his head and face, he is only 3 months old, so it may be better as he grows up. The picture is miss leading, the 2 leaves are solid wood and loosly hang down

This rattle was extremely environmentally friendly, and the recipient of the gift waxed poetic on it's baby friendly, chemically free, developmentally stimulating properties. I did think it was very cute and a great size/shape, but I didn't love the fabrics - I felt they could've been a lot softer. Not that they were harmfully rough, it just wasn't a texture that makes me think baby.

Shape is good and easy to grab, but the sound is very poor. My baby is not so happy about this toy.

My daughter loves this toy. It has a great shape which makes it easy for her to pick up and hold. She loves playing with the "chicken feathers" and chewing on the "leaves". Plus there are the ribbons on the other end with knots that are great for chewing on with her new teeth coming in. Very well made. Noisy, chewy, easy to hold - what else could a 6 month old ask for?
