We were given one of these dolls for my daughter at 3 months and it had become one of her absolute favorites. She is 7 months now, and loves to use the hat as a 'pacifier.' When we're in the car she likes to hold it and suck on the hat and play with the ribbons at the feet and neck. She also gets very excited when we hold it up for her and will look for it mixed up in her other toys. I had to order 2 extra - one for the sitter and the other to have as backup! Great product for baby!

My twin boys who are both just over 3 months now, like this Sassy baby doll. When we hold the doll up to them, they smile. I think they see the smile on the doll's face and they are smiling back.

I love the colors and textures all over the doll and it's small enough that my boys will be able to hold it soon. I hope it will be one of their favorite toys.

The one thing that I don't really "get" is the wooden ring "hands." They are somewhat heavy (for a doll-toy), and when the boys get older, I can see them hitting their own faces or each others accidentally with them, which will definitely hurt. Also, if a baby chews on them, I'm not sure they wouldn't splinter. Therefore I think we plan to cut the rings off and see how it looks without them.

But I do recommend this product - it is very cute and made my boys smile!
