I just use them for dirty diapers and I can't find a garbage can anywhere that I'd want to put them in. They totally block the odor and smell like baby powder. I keep them in the diaper bag at ALL TIMES! These are great!! I highly recommend using these.

Carol Ann Kaplan              January 3rd, 2005 A MUST HAVE item! As a firsttime mom (at 40) I prefer convenience and multi-use items. These bags are used for dirty diapers, wet clothes, dirty bibs, napkins, etc. They smell like baby powder so there is not fear of placing them in your diaper bag or purse. I recommend storing some in your car, too. I don't use a Diaper Depot or Genie or any other dirty diaper pail. I keep these on hand to contain the dirty diapers and then I just throw them away at the end of the day. They keep the odor out completely!! ~Carol Ann
