Submitted By: Trish from California   Date: 09/02/2008 My daughter was born a month early. We had the NUK 0-6 months pacifier in her diaper bag, and tried it when we took her home. It was so big on her, that it covered up her nose! I spent the car ride home with my daughter sucking on the tip of my pinkie finger. We had a pack of the 0-6 month MAM pacifiers at home and tried those. While they didn't cover up her nose like the NUK, I wasn't 100% comfortable with it. My husband found the Nanno at the store, and it was perfect. It doesn't cover her nose, the plastic is minimal enough to allow her skin to breathe, and it's light enough for her to keep in her mouth. My daughter wasn't that little - she was 6 pounds when she was born - so I thought the other sizes would work. I will be staying with the MAM brand. They are much cuter than the other brands, and it doesn't matter which side is up when it's in your child's mouth. The Nanno size doesn't seem to be readily available at the local discount stores, but the other styles/sizes are. This product has made diaper changes and bedtime a lot quieter in our house.

Submitted By: CurtissAnn   Date: 06/15/2008 Our granddaughter was 5.5 lbs. when she came home. She had lots of small pacifiers, but she would not take them well until the MAM Nanno. It fit her tiny mouth and did not bump her nose as the others did.

This soother as described on the website below is meant for babies up to 10 lbs. Maybe your 2 month old was over that weight, i know mine was. But, for the first 2 months of her life she was so tiny (a preemie) and she never got the hang of the soothers unless we held them in her mouth the entire time she sucked. I wish i had come across a smaller, lighter soother (such as the Nanno) for my preemie who was born 35wks 6 days gestation. She was 6.2 at birth and had a tiny mouth and tiny lips. I can't see that she'd have choked on this design because she never opened her mouth big at all. I actually had to pry it open to get my nipple in to nurse her. She did nurse great if i lined it all up for her! I had a problem with many soothers out there because they make the nipples HUGE! I don't have tiny nipples, but my nipples are not as big as the typical soother out there. Now i have an 8 months old who loves MAM soothers. She will take the 0-6 month ones fine still (more the size of my nipple) and just yesterday i started the 6+ month size. The nipple is ballooned out more at the tip and it is great for staying in her mouth for longer at night and naps. I will be using this size from now on (and it may work good for your two month old if her mouth is large). I only wish i had tried MAM soothers sooner. Two thumbs up and a standing ovation for MAM.... I love there soothers! p.s. - do not try these if your baby is over 10 lbs... we need to follow the companies directions people. Submitted By: Nina from NY   Date: 01/05/2008 I FINALLY found these online. We are down to one lone passy left after loosing the rest since the time he was born, and he is now 6 months. These are also his favorites and the ONLY ones he can keep in his mouth. He nurses just fine also. I have never had a problem with them with choking or anything. I tried every website imaginable in order to find these- thanks Baby wise! FYI, the cute little writings and designs come off after regular use and washing.

Submitted By: Andrea Johnson   Date: 11/11/2007 When my son was born the hospital gave us a soothy pasifier. The only problem was that he could not keep it in his mouth. My mom went to the store and got some of these, and he loved them. He still loves these evan though he is 6 months, not 0-2 months. They have always been his favorit. I can not admagin a baby especially 0-2 months having a problem with putting the whole thing in their mouth. If the babys mouth is bigger than the binky, i guess that the baby could have a problem. My 6 month old has used it and has had a corner of it in his mouth, but it defenatly would not scare him. My 10 month old nephew has taken my babys binky from him and also has not had a problem. I also really liked that the nipple has a matted finish, it seemed to help him grip the nipple to hold it in hid mouth easier. Last of all, my baby nurced just fine after using this binky. ( Some insisted that I had to use the soothies, but these worked great!) I will defenatly buy these again for my next baby!

Submitted By: Kym parker   Date: 10/18/2007 I bought these pacifiers for my 2 mth old daughter I thought they were cute and small to fit her mouth better. I was WRONG! I turned my back from her for about 2 min and When I turned around all I could see is the heart on it. She had the whole thing in her mouth! She was gaging on it. These are very DANGERUS so please mom and dads WATCH OUT!!!!!!!
