April from Denver, CO August 17th, 2010 I don't like this brush for a number of reasons...1 - the soap leakes out (maybe mine is defective), 2 - it doesn't foam up to a good lather like a spongey bottle brush, 3 - it doesn't fit inside any of my breast pump parts, which is primarily what I use it for. It isn't even that good for bottle parts, you really can't scrub the nipple collar with it, and you certainly can't scrub any other little parts, such as the parts that come with the Born Free bottles that I use.

I didn´t want to scratch my bottles so I got this brush. The bristles are nice and flexible and really do not scratch the walls of the bottle however, the nipple on the top of the head of the brush is hard plastic and scratches the bottles on the bottom. It also prevents the bristles from getting into the corners of the bottle and therefore leaves them unwashed. I can really see the remains of milk in the corners of the bottle. It is disgusting.
Works for me, I started preparing the bottles and was very pleased that they had not left any scratch marks in the bottle to give it that filmy scratched and overused look. I don't store the soap in it, I just place what I need in the bottle that I am washing and works even better!
I was very excited to get this bottle brush. I figured that since it held the soap in it I wouldn't waste as much. All of the soap leaked onto the sink and fit into the bottle at first and now I have to jam it in. I'm going to stick with my Munckin ones...
I bought it because of the soft bristles. They're almost rubber-like. It does not fit well into the regular Dr. Brown's bottles and the nipple brush is very abrasive. I could see it easily tearing a soft nipple. I was totally bummed because it's so darn cute and the nipple brush flips out instead of being separate. Oh well...not something I would recommend or buy again.
I like the brush just fine - bright colors, flexible, and doesn't scratch. The handy nipple bristle on the bottom is pretty nifty too. Would recommend.
