This has kept my now 7 month old daughter entertained for short amounts of time for a couple of months now. The crinkly ears were the first draw, and now she enjoys pulling the string or watching it roll past her and trying to swat at it.
Unfortunately, the elephant only rolls well on hard surfaces (won't roll on any of our rugs) so that limits its play value for us. If you have play mats, I'm sure it would work well on that surface.
