The Sassy Ribbon Rattle encourages development of motor skills by encouraging baby to grasp the handle, slide the rings, touch the ribbons, shake the rattle and squeeze the ball to hear it crinkle. In addition, the bright colors encourage baby to explore the toy by reaching, holding, mouthing and looking at it.
This rattle is soft enough and light enough for a newborn. Rows of silky ribbons festoon one round end of this barbell shaped toy. The other end is covered in smooth red and white polka-dot material. Three fabric covered rings around the handle encourage baby to touch and grasp. Each end of the rattle makes a different, soft rattling sound.
