Three wooden rings slide back and forth, creating a soft clacking sound. Textured terry cloth, fleece and crinkly sateen ribbons are a treat to baby's curious touch, while velour stretchy cords are fun to pull.

When baby is alert, gently touch the palm of her hand with the rattle and she will naturally curl her fingers around it. Placing objects in baby's hands helps develop her ability to grasp and manipulate objects, while also improving her coordination.

This was the first toy our baby boy had & it did take him until he was about 4 months old before he could slightly grasp it. Now, at 8 months old, it's one of his favorite toys. It always goes with him in his carseat & he's chewed every part of it while teething -- something I don't mind! Love the wood aspect of it. Now, we're starting to show him percussion beats using the rattle.

A gift, this rattle/toy has become our little girl's favorite. We now gift it to anyone who has a baby. The crinkle in the tassles is perfect. The wood discs rattle just enough but also move around and entertain little fingers. And, the tufts at the other end provide more fun for little fingers as dexterity improves. This is a fabulous (and simple) toy. Highly recommend!
