I had read in a book that mirror games were good for stimulating a babys' visual experiences when they are in the 6-9 month old range. I have found that a majority of the games the book has suggested to play with ones baby have been very beneficial for my sons overall stimulation. I've placed a mirror over his changing table, in his play yard and in his crib. He really seems to enjoy looking at himself and learning who he is. He also likes pulling on the little sunny face and chewing on the teething ring.
