Leah from Jaffrey, NH April 15th, 2009 I had high hopes for this product, so maybe that's part of why I'm so disappointed, but I think it was the biggest waste of money. My husband and I have both wrestled with it multiple times, and we can't even get the darn thing open! It just won't twist. It's also so much smaller than I had anticipated - I'm only slight exaggerating when I say that I could probably hold the thing up to the computer screen, and it's hardly bigger than the picture. I've already contacted the company, but I'm going to go ahead and grab the Munchkin one from Target. The only reason I bought the Sassy instead is because it came in different colors, but the Munchkin one is bigger and you can purchase extra mesh bags for it (maybe you can for the Sassy one too, although I didn't see them).

I was comparing this one with Munchkin fresh food feeder. And I found this one is easy to use. It has a cover and replacement, which is very considerate.
Like how the Sassy brand comes with a cap and replacement mesh. I tried the Munchkin brand and it's really hard to open to put in the fruit/veggie.
It doubles as a teether when you place the fruit/veggie in the freezer.
This is a great way to help your child transition to self-feeding and reduce the risk of choking. The cover is handy for when we're on the go...I just throw in a banana chunk or apple slice so all I have to do is pull the cap off when she's ready for it.
My baby loves to feed herself, so I use this a lot. I am also pleased that we can replace the actual bag as it wears out and gets gross from food.
This is so awesome. The only set back I can find is that it's not easy to clean after peaches or bananas are sucked through the mesh. But it quieted and occupied 9 month twins who are on a screaming kick. I was able to finally get things done around here in peace. I also like the idea that you can put a banana or peaches, or pears, whatever in it, put in in the freezer and you have a teether that doesn't freeze their hands too. I have posted my delight with this product to Facebook!

I love the teething feeder!! Its great for home and or travel. We put fresh fruit, ice cubes, frozen breast milk, frozen mashed baby food(fresh or jared) and teething biscuts in them and our son loves it. And theres no need to worry about choking. I would recomend highly! Great baby shower gift as well.
