My son, before he can even reach or grab, loves to follow this around with its bright colors and little rattling sounds. It's great that he can stick it in his mouth and play with it all he wants without my having to worry about chemicals or peeling paint.

I like the natural wooden feel of this toy but the pieces don't move around freely so it is difficult to get it to make noise as a rattle.

The Sassy Wooden Trio is a beautiful toy and it grabs the attention of our 3 month old but it is quite hard for tiny hands to hold onto. Perhaps that's why it says for 6mo+ ? Separating the three wooden triangles makes it more usable for little ones too.
