A pair of soft rattles attaches easily to baby's wrists or ankles with Velcro closures. Rattles make different noises to help baby learn that the body has two sides. Assorted designs, two per pack.

Put just one rattle on baby's wrist to allow baby to focus on one hand at a time
As baby gets older, beginning at 3 months, put a rattle on each wrist
When baby is 4 or 5 months old, put the rattles on baby's ankles, which will encourage lifting of the feet and kicking
Describe the characters on the rattles and tell baby about the colors, sounds, and shapes of each one

Our Riley is now 3 months old. when he was just 2 months I purchased the wrist rattles (just 1 set) he would notice the bright colors so I ordered the second set. I have watched in amazement at all the attention he gives these simple little rattles. They don't drop them and the laughter they have to watch is priceless.

At first my twin babies did not respond to the wrist rattles. But once they turned 3 1/2 months old, the wrist rattles started to become a lot of fun. They become very aware of them and look at them frequently and shake their wrists to make them rattle. I don't keep them on long, however, as I think the fun would disappear if they were on baby longer than about 20-30 minutes or so.
