Baby not here yet. I did air it outside for 3 days, because I read you should due to fumes. I put the batteries in and it works. It feels a little stronger than I thought. My plan is not to use it in the beginning unless he wont sleep.I put my head on it and I thought it was a little too much. But for an older baby it should be great. I had an attachment that did this to the crib with my first and it was really nice- so I know I will be thankful for this. I would think this would be good for sids. The button is in a really bad place for my crib- which has one large slat in down the center of the crib, so it completely blocks the button. But if you just have normal slats, it should be fine. Also this site was cheaper than any other- even Walmart!
