Second Nature Transition Nurser - 9 oz.

The Second Nature Transition Nurser is the perfect way to transition from a bottle to a cup. Simply use the Second Nature Nipple until your child is ready to switch; then set it aside and start to use the Transition Spout. The handles can be used with the Nipple or the Spout to further ease the transition. Using the Second Nature Transition Nurser will help your child's transition to a cup.

It comes with a Second Nature Nipple, plus a Super-Soft Transition Spout which uses the same micro-holed design as the Second Nature Nipple. A set of easy to use handles is also included.

Submitted By: Meghan's Mom from Hartsdale, NY   Date: 06/26/2008 My daughter was not breast feed so I did not buy these for there intended purpose. I was trying to get her interested in using a sippy cup and she wouldn't have anything to do with it. So, when I saw that these bottles had a sippy cup spout made from a real nipple I thought it might help her get the idea. Guess what? It worked !! After a few weeks she went from her old baby bottles to these bottles and after two weeks we switched to the sippy spout and now she no longer uses bottles at all!! We realized that she had to learn how to suck harder to get the liquid from the sippy spout and that was what she had problems doing with the sippy cups. Great product, I love these bottles, they never leaked and they did what they were supposed to do, transition my baby to the next level. *A little side note I wouldn't put the nipples in the dishwasher because they can contract at the base and then they might start to leak. So do yourself a favor and wash them by hand and just sterilize them with some boiling water in a bowl just in case.

My son is almost 7 months old and has used the Second Nature bottles (when not breastfeeding) since he was 6 weeks old. He has no problem drinking from the transition spout--now he just has to learn to hold it himself! I just wish it came with a smaller bottle. I usually give him juice in this and a 9 oz bottle is just too big.
