The canvas is crisp and seems sturdy. I think this will be easy to keep clean and looking new. Also, when we no longer need it as a diaper bag, it will make a handy messenger bag to take on family outings. I'm much more pleased with this bag than I was the typical loud and garish one that I got from a misguided but well-meaning friend at my baby shower.

I had originally planned on buying the "Dash" version - I liked the look of it better. However, the more I thought about that big cumbersome flap (my most recent diaper bag had one) the less appealing it became. So I purchased the Duo as a Christmas gift for myself - planning on waiting to open it Christmas morning (right!). Well, I got it in the mail today (Baby-wise has SPEEDY shipping!) and started to move the items of my current bag into the Duo, just to see how everything fit. This bag has SO much space - plenty of pockets- and at the top of the bag there are two large zippered pouches that go down about halfway the length of the bag and they are perfect for putting your wallet, keys, lotions etc within easy reach!! Also, those pockets on the front of the bag are very roomy, they seem to expand a little and it's surprising how much they hold. This slim profile makes the bag so much easier to carry - I don't think I will have a problem knocking things off shelves in stores anymore with this bag on my shoulder! LOVE IT! A must buy!
