I love the looks of this bag, and have been pretty satisfied with the amount of stuff it can hold. HOWEVER, it drives me nuts that the bag always slips off my shoulder. The shoulder strap should have some sort of rubber material to help alleviate this problem. It's tough to have my hands full with my child, sippy cup, car keys etc... and then to have the bag slip off my shoulder, just a bit annoying!
I was really excited and looking forward to the sleek design and functionality of this Via Messenger bag. I love that it has so many pockets, however the base of the bag is too narrow and deep. When I filled the pockets, I couldn't find anything and then the inner pockets tore! My baby was less than three months when the tear factor occurred. Super frustrating! Some of the other Skip Hop bags are made of canvas (more durable) and wider on the bottom so it is easier to see what is in the bag and all the pockets inside! Also, the changing pad that came with the bag is light gray and shows everything! It should be black or another dark color.
They did send me a new one, but I don't want this one again!
I did a lot of websearching before I decided on this bag, and I like it a lot. I can carry a whole lot more than my old bag and it is very easy to open and close without going through any hassle. It is also very stylish. Since I have a black one it goes with almost anything that I wear.
I just gave birth and have been using the skip hop messenger bag, love every thing about this bag!!!! it is very comfortable and can be used also for anything!!!!! Its the best!!!
Great design and good choice for both mom and dad. After it arrived we realized we wanted one a little larger. We ordered the skip hop duo deluxe which is a little taller.
