Love this cushion. Have the Beige Corderoy and even though the color is light, it doesn't stain, even tomato/spaghetti sauce. LOVE it. It's easy to clean and take on/off the chair.

I thought this might make the chair more comfortable, but I'm not so sure because it's thin fiber lined (not foam). I think the chair is great without it. My messy 1 year old gets the seat so dirty, it's a pain to loosen the bolts to take the seat cushion out everytime. I wish there was an easier way to take the cushion out. Now I stopped using the cushion because it's just easier wiping the chair down with a moist cloth. If you have an older, cleaner child the cushion adds a nice decorative accent.

The cushion is very bright. It will surely hide some of the food spots that are likely to get on it as my daughter grows. It comes off easily and can be machine washed. Since my daughter hasn't started solids, I haven't been able to give it a toddler endurance test, but it is cheerfully colored and it keeps her bottom from sliding out of the chair. We love the Stokke chair!
