The car seat is slimmer than many others and therefore is great when there are going to be other people sitting in the back with the baby. The other reason I chose this car seat is that is has the highest rating on healthycar.org. It's hard to believe but many car seats including some of the Britax models have tons of chemicals like lead and bromine, this car seat doesn't have any of those. Very happy with this purchase.
