Radian Car Seat Carry Case

We recently used this carry case in conjunction with Radian 65SL car seat for air travel. The case is very durable and well constructed and works well for a checked-in luggage.

However, the case needs shorter straps and a compression strap. Two straps come with this to convert the case into a backpack -- but the straps can't be shortened enough to be effective. We had to tie some knots to make it work. Also, the bag is too big for the Radian 65SL, so whether you carry it on your shoulder or on your back, the car seat will rock around in the case. You need to either stuff the bag with more items or build your own compression strap.

The car seat is heavy enough that you still want some sort of a carry case -- and this one can be designed better.

I had ordered this back in May from a different baby site and received one diappointing email after another saying the item was backordered. Finally, I cancelled my order and searched again for the item. This time, babyearth.com showed up as having it in stock and priced better than the first vendor! We love our Radian 80 -- it works so well for flying and as a second car seat in her dad's car (her primary one is a Britax Marathon, in my car). And since it's so awkward to carry while traveling, I was keen on finding this convenient storage and travel bag. I hope it lives up to its reputation, too! VERY IMPRESSED WITH BABYEARTH.COM :)
