The American Red Cross Soothing Baby Scale is a fine scale. Come with the possibility to set both kg (preset) and pounds, has a large very stable base, and has the possibility to set a jingle, which is supposed to calm down the baby while weighing him or her.

The approximation is 10gr, which is fine. An approximation to the 5gr would be better, but admittably it comes on more pricey scales.

I was a bit disappointed that the batteries (4 AA batteries) you need to operate the scale do not come in the box. They often do.

Overall, this scale does its job!
