This is the only pacifier my twin daughters can use. They had something similar at the NICU, but we kept losing it, and in desparation we went to store after store, trying to find one like the hospital one. After many different tries, the Soothie is the only one the girls can keep in their mouth. We have purchased over 30 because my hubbie is terrible about losing them. I slip a short length of slim satin ribbon through the hole and attach it to a bib using a diaper pin when we go out so it doesn't fall on the floor or get lost in transit. It also is easy to sterilize, and water doesn't get trapped inside since it's all one piece/.

My boy took to it instantly. And no nipple confusion so far.

Got this paci from the NICU. My son loves it, it's the only one my son will keep in his mouth, which is both a positive and a negative because we lose them all the time (there's no place to clip them!!!) and trying to buy them in a local store is nearly impossible. just make sure you keep a lot of them on hand! It fits his mouth perfectly and I was worried that it would cover his nose but that has not been an issue even when he was tiny (4 lbs) plus it's sooo easy to clean because its one piece so theres no crevices or anything for yuck to get into. One thing to watch out for, the back of the nipple is the perfect size for little fingers to fit into which may be a concern for kids with chubby little fingers to get stuck...

Soothies pacifiers are more like a real nipple and was the only pacifier my newborn would take. It's the type that many hospitals carry.

This is the only pacifier our son has/will use since he was born, and he is currently 8 months old. These may be big and look different than other pacifier, but they are great. It is also good as baby gets older and starts teething, he can chew on the sides of this paci!

My children won't take anything but Soothie pacifiers! They are durable and definitely better for the we ones than any other brand of pacifier on the market today.
