I appreciate the stainless steel container that is still spill-proof, and the hard plastic sippy spout is an improvement over her other cups with the soft spout, as she chews them and over time they leak. This one is easy to hold and drink from, and the rubbery outer coating on the steel cup keeps it from scarring the wood floor when she throws it off her high chair. My only complaint is that the valve pops out of the spout once in a while when the cup gets dropped, but it's not too complicated to open it up and pop it back in as long as I notice before she's poured it out into her lap.

Submitted By: Linee from Tucson, AZ   Date: 01/26/2009 Yes, this is a safe sippy as far as the materials used. In that respect, it's great but I'm disappointed that it leaks. If my daughter has tipped it over and it is lying on it's side on the floor the liquid will drip out of the spout. I'm constantly wiping up after it. I have yet to find a "green" sippy that doesn't leak and I had high hopes for this one.

Hts., IL   Date: 12/16/2008 My grandsons love the look of the Safe Sippy because it looks like a "grown-up" container and, obviously, I like the fact that it's safe but they do leak. There's a small rubber gasket in the lid that slips out of its slot and is impossible to get back into place.
