2008 Valco Baby Runabout Tri Mode ATS Stroller

The Valco Baby Runabout Tri Mode is a unique stroller that allows you to adjust it to your changing needs. The Tri Mode refers to the front swivel wheel that functions in three different ways. It can be locked into place for running, full swivel for everyday use, or 45 degree swivel that is best when using the stroller in toddler mode.

Plus, the Runabout is the only stroller that features a unique toddler seat that can be attached to the front of the stroller to accommodate two children! Perfect for parents that want a more compact double stroller, or have a toddler that does not want to ride all the time.

I have several friends with the phil & teds double stroller, but I didnt like the idea of the second child being so low to the ground. The tri mode is very nice with a sturdy frame and lots of padding. Plus, it really is a jogging stroller so I can use it for everything. No need for a regular stroller and a double jogger. Plus, when I am done with the toddler seat, I am back to having a great single. Cant say enough great things about this stroller!

Submitted By: Shari   Date: 06/16/2008 My husband and I purchased this stroller, along with the toddler seat, when we had our second child. This has been the absolute best baby gear purchase we have ever made! Our children are ages 3 and 2 months, but our oldest still likes to/needs to ride in the stroller when we're out and about, and we liked the fact that the toddler seat can be attached when we need it and removed when we don't. Our oldest LOVES riding in the toddler seat and has plenty of room, as evidenced by all the stuff she insists on bringing with her when she gets in the stroller!! We use this stroller for everything: shopping, taking walks, running, etc. It is easy to fold (it can be a bit bulky, but the wheels easily come off, making it pretty compact), steers like a dream, is very comfortable for the kids, and looks great (doesn't look like your typical jogging stroller)! Whenever we're out with our stroller, it never fails that we will have at least one person come up to us and comment on the stroller or want to check it out. In fact, we had one person stop and tell us they were, "in awe" of the stroller! The only downside to this stroller is that it doesn't have any snack trays or cup holders for us or the kids. However, we ordered the "Carry You" double drink holder to go on the handlebars, and a single one to attach to the toddler seat, and this has worked really well for us.
