The Middle Class Mother Struggle

One mom shared her struggle as a middle-class parent in TODAY's Parenting Team online community. She changed careers twice and debated getting another job, "just to afford child care," this mom wrote.
She doesn't want to travel to Disney World or other expensive locations. Nor does she want to impress others with fine clothing. She wants enough groceries, health care for her children, and a working vehicle.
This mom defines middle-class motherhood as being "stuck in dead-end jobs," finding childcare during work trips and eating Ramen. Middle-class motherhood "likely doesn't look like what you think it does." Click here for the full article.
