The online community is abuzz with the real-life news that Hoda Kotb adopted a second baby girl, named Hope Catherine.
This is the second child and second adoption for the Today Show co-anchor. Hoda first became a mom to (now) 2-year-old Haley Joy, who seems to be relishing her new role as big sister.
The surprise announcement was made during "Pop-Start" on April 16, 2019. Even some of her Today Show family seemed caught off-guard by the news.
It seems Hoda and her partner, Joel, wanted to give Haley Joy a sister to grow up with. We wish her growing family all the happiness in the world!
