Twin Sisters Give Birth the Same Day at the Same Hospital

After struggling with infertility, two sisters' prayers are answered

Twin sisters Jalynne April Crawford and Janelle Ann Leopoldo are beacons of hope for women struggling with fertility issues.

Jalynne and Janelle had always prayed that someday they would get pregnant together. The moment leading up to that miracle, however, was nothing short of challenging.

Janelle struggled with fertility issues, was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome -- a hormonal disorder causing enlarged ovaries with small cysts on the outer edges -- and had an ectopic pregnancy.

Sister Jalynne, on the other hand, suffered two miscarriages. Even more tragic was the loss of the twins' sister Jennifer Pippin last year.

Despite their struggles, the twins never gave up hope. Sure enough, four days after Jalynne found out she was pregnant, she got the call from sister Janelle announcing she too, was expecting.

Nine months later, Janelle and Jalynne delivered their baby boys on the same day, in the same hospital, with both families and the twins' parents present.

The day proved to be an unforgettable experience for both families, as well as a story of hope, perseverance, and love. In Jalynne's words,

"We're going to remember this for the rest of our lives."
