It's common for mothers who have had miscarriages to use early ultrasound pictures for personal jewelry to commemorate their unborn child. But recently, moms are using ultrasound pictures for nail art: not only to honor miscarried babies, but for events such as gender reveals or baby showers.
One mom shared a painful story about her ultrasound nails. She and her husband lost their baby, but now, she addresses her child through a social media post: "Seeing you on my nails makes me smile" (parents.com).
Another woman shared a picture of ultrasound nails that she had done for a client.
