Viral Needle Photo Represents Journey of Motherhood

Like most new parents, when couple Patricia and Kimberly O'Neill had their first baby, they went to a professional photographer to have keepsake photos taken.
This particular newborn photoshoot, however, was very special.
This portrait of baby London, which quickly went viral, tells the story of hope between a couple who went through 4 years, 7 attempts and 3 miscarriages to have a baby.
The photo shows 1,616 IVF needles surrounding baby London in the shape of a heart.

The photo has become a symbol of hope for other parents who are struggling with fertility issues.
